We now own about 20 (each) of these Sony batteries in both AAA and AA. I love them! When they die I just pop them in the charger and in a few hours they are good as new. I have a 5 year old son who has tons of battery operated toys... these batteries have saved us a small fortune! We bought the first pack about 2 years ago and we still use them.

This is a good product, there are several brands I prefer. No complaints. My review is limited by my lack of much experience comparing various batteries in terms of how long they last. All seem to perform about the same, to me.

Unlike Radio Shack Batteries Sony batteries always charges in the charger with a steady light. The result is you don't have to throw them out as defective. The Radio Shack batteries usually flash when I put them in my duracell charger indicating failability even though they might hold a partial charge.In certain situations when I needed a picture or the mp3 player stopped playing the cost/benifit of these batteries were outweighed by the Sony batteries

I bought this in December 2007 for less than $10 bucks here and i used them for my sony digital voice recorder. I used the recorder for lectures and other stuff as well as a speech lesson i was taking. I'll say they do take about 4hrs to charge, and it holds the charge pretty well. I think when i started for my voice recorder, they'll hold a charge for a week or so. In terms of using them for back to back 2hr lectures, i think they last for at more than 12hrs of recording. i usually recharge at the end of the school week. I usually recharge them when my recorder shows a single bar or 2 left. They are good batteries, i still have them except i had to buy extra ones last week because i use the old ones for my recorder and remote as well as my TI-83 calculator and i'm getting tired of swtiching batteries between those three items. I plan on buying more when the price drops further. They really are worth it
