I researched and compared cameras for about 6 months. I first bought the Kodak Easy Share, but the on/off button was sooooo small. Returned the Kodak, ordered the Sony Cyber-shot and I love it, but best of all, my husband (Mr. Picky) loves it.

The camera takes great pictures. By no means would I consider myself a professional photographer, but with this camera, great shots come easy. It's as easy as point and shoot. I also have a DSC-W150 which I love. My one complaint is why did they go to a 4x optical zoom with this camera. My DSC-W150, which is an older model, at least has a 5x. Other than that, it's a great camera.

The camera takes beautiful pictures. I don't regret buying this camera at all. The 'smile' features comes in handy when you're trying to take pictures of an active 8mos old. The only thing con is the battery life doesn't last that long.

This camera is simply amazing i really hope that people can look at these reviews and see that this camera will be a great choice for them. It has the great mode of smile where it the camera just goes off whenver someone smiles. This camera is really great! I recomend it for anyone the photos are crystal clear (even at high speeds) and the camera is simply amazing!

I ordered this camera because of the Sony quality, the compactness of it and the reasonable price.
Pro's: Very sharp pictures, large LCD screen, very compact, easy to use and fast start-up for first shot.
Con's: The battery does not last long, (LCD power consumption?).
After 20 pictures (with no flash), one of the four bars for the battery is gone, so a full charge may last no more than 100 pictures. This is a special battery, expensive and not widely available. I would suggest designing this camera using AAA batteries, instead of the propietary one Sony uses. After two weeks of use, I sadly had to return this camera.
Keep the above in mind if you are considering this camera.
