I had not owned a camera in a long time and am quite happy with this one. It has multiple picture functions and the camera auto selects the right one for you based on your surroundings and subject, which is awesome, since I know as much about photography as I do aerospace engineering (zilch). I highly recommend this product to both newbies and photo geeks since it is super-easy to use and takes great pics.

I've been buying Sony Cybershot cameras for years, stepping up as the cameras increased in performance. This is the 4th and the best. The Cybershot series has wonderful stabilization. It's easy to use and quick to learn all of the "extras".
