Simply, it just works. The sony digicam have 4GB built in. It was a hassle to manually transfer tons of photos onto the memory stick and take it out and have it read by those all-in-one memory card reader. Now I don't need to do those extra steps and just use the cable and have a direct connection with the PC. It's that easy! :)

Got it in three days. Bought it for a DSC-W55 Cybershot. Unfortunately I didn't read the manual. It won't charge the battery, it only supplies fulltime power to the camera. Need to order a seprate battery charger. Maybe I'll go to Bestbuy.

The cord did not work. I brought it to best buy and got the same exact one and it worked. So I know it wasn't my camera. Thanks for selling me something that doesn't even work....

AFTER IT IS NOW PAST THE 14 DAY ARRIVAL TIME, I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY SHIPMENT.IT IS A VERY SMALL CABLE FOR A CAMERA. I WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED IT IF I DID NOT NEED IT. I HAVE ALL WAYS HAD VERY GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING ORDERS THROUGH AMAZON, BUT NOT THIS TIME.

Using this with a Sony Cybershot DSC-T300 Sony Cybershot DSCT300/R 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Red). The issues I have is that the whole picture doesn't show up on the TV screen (it's a zoomed in too much), and you can't play any "movie mode" recordings when this cable is attached. These playback limitations are certainly the fault of the Sony Cybershot camera but you'll won't notice these limitations until you hook it up to a TV using this cable.
