This model was designed for the 2nd generation Zunes, but it still works with the Zune HD. I've been using it with my 16GB Zune HD for a few weeks, and there are no problems. It charges it much faster than plugging into the computer, and it's a lot more convenient since I can charge it where there is an outlet. I bought this thing for $0.98, so it was a steal. Don't buy any of the generic adapters because they are cheap and could have problems. Even though this doesn't have it's own cable (which is not too much of a problem for me since I use wireless sync) , it's still a better deal and guaranteed to work with Zunes.

Well it's a very nice wall charger and it charges my zune hd quite quickly. For $3 i can't complain, but it would've been nice of they made the prongs to plug it in a little stiffer. They're kinda floppy so when you try to plug it in it wants to collapse on you. Besides that it's very nice.



I like that the prongs are oriented vertically so when you plug it into a plugstrip it lays crosswise and doesn't use up all the space. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable classy wall charger that charges quickly and is zune compatible.



P.S. this does not come with the usb sync cord so you will have to use the cord that is included with your zune.

I received this product from Retail Killer a day before Amazon said it shipped! I opened it, and saw the retail packaging kind of "chewed" up. Everything was there, but the box was in b-stock quality. I love the product though! It frees up a USB port, and i can charge my ZUNE HD in my room! I can be syncing from anywhere in my house, not worrying about battery power. It would have been nice if this product came with another sync cable, but it was worth the $5.00 anyway. BUY THIS PRODUCT!

A great bargain, compared to the iPod & third-party ones out there for $30 for the exact same thing. A must-have item for your Zune. Kudos to Microsoft for making something quality & affordable. Sounds like one the top earphones in the market. Hard hitting bass, and clean highs. Perfect for techno. The cord is the only problem. When it rubs up agains your shirt or your collars it creates a very annoying scratching noise if your music is turned down low. Very, very irritating, and I have had these earphones about a year now and I'm still not used to the noise. I usually turn up the music high so drown out the scratching sound. Also, The soft fabric has torn in one place and it exposed the plastic wire underneath.



There is an advantage to the soft fabric wires though, it does not bunch up or get twisted. So you wont have to constantly untwist them like other plastic wires.



Overall, excellent sound, but annoying at time if the music is low or during song transitions.

First off, I have owned these Zune V2 headphones for over two years now on a Zune 120GB device; I am on my 2nd pair currently though. Portable headphones from any manufacturer do wear out with daily rugged use, as I give mine. The magnetic connector for them is just great, you know, the headphones are not dangling independently of each other all over the place. The speakers in them are excellent, they sound very good and the cord is made of tangle resistant woven material, and I have never had any problem with interference by it (the cord) hitting any objects, including metal. In fact, I read the review here that someone got interference with a shovel banging into them, but I tried hitting them (the cords) and everything else that I could think of, they never sounded better even as I was trying to distort the sound any way that I could. Even when I get an IPhone or any other portable device that will require headphones, I plan on using these. They may be a little expensive but they are totally worth it, you will never go back to 'other' portable headphones again, the noise reduction is standard for in-the-ear headphones also, meaning good. Bye-the-way, the great magnets and super sounding speakers are a little big, compared to `other' cheaper lower end portable headphones out here, but I will never go to anything else than this type of headphones.

I snagged these when they were selling at a 50% discount right before they were discontinued. The first time I used them, I fell in love. The sound quality is superb and they are very comfortable. The cord will fray but that shouldn't cause a problem. Moving will transmit a sound to your ears and it's annoying at first, but you quickly get used to it (at least I did) and it's definitely not as bad as some people are saying.



Here's the bad:

I bought these in like late August and the right side just recently became really faint (this was in mid-March). I wish these headphones weren't discontinued because I would definitely buy another pair.



Overall, these are still the best ear-phones I have ever used. Bass is perfect, sound quality is better than all I have tried, they are very comfortable, hardly noticeable & never fall out even while running, and block outside sound really well. Also, you think you'll never use the pouch but you do :)

I've had these for a month and use them every few days including at a gym, and on a plane or playing video games. I consider myself above average when if comes to being picky about sound; I occasionally moonlight as a sound tech.



I've been happy with these. The sound reproduction is fairly accurate; a little light on the base but not in a bad way.



Sound isolation is not perfect with the rubber tips and my ears are small so I kind of have to work hard to get a good seal on my ear canal.



That said, when I got these for about 20 bucks, I would still pay about 30 for them if these broke. For my generic listening use; I think I got a good deal.



If this is your first time buying in-ear headphones, keep this mind: Most people aren't really as finicky as they say they are about sound.



I suggest you give these a try. for about 30$ before you hand over more than double that for 'high end' ones.

So i decided to buy another pair from walmart and use them in my ipod touch. They are great again. I love these headphones. The problems people say in other reviews are true but the sound quality beats it. Buy them from walmart or bestbuy for $30

Nice dock for the Zune. It's small, has a nice rubber grip pad on the bottom, and is very easy to set up and use.



The only downside is that when using the radio, I had to move the speaker connection from the back of the dock to the headphone jack on the Zune itself because the Zune uses that jack as an antennae for the radio. I don't know if there is any way the dock could conceivably route the radio antennae signal from the headphone jack to the dock, but I was unable to receive a good radio signal through the dock itself.



Still, for ease of use and listening to music from the Zune, this dock is first rate. It keeps my Zune charged and ready to go.

The dock comes with adaptors, none labeled specifically for the 120, but other reviewers stated that Zune's customer service said it would work, so I gave it a shot. I used the 80's adaptor and while the 120 rested a little unsteadily, it was connected enough to start charging. Since I still seemed to be having some issues with getting a really solid charge, I followed the Zune tech site's suggestion and after a half hour on the dock, connected it back to the computer and it worked perfectly.



After the initial full charge using the dock and computer, we're able to use the dock alone now. Apart from the semi-wobbly condition, I would still recommend it for owners of the 120 as an alternate charge source - I'm not sure if making some alterations to the adaptor would help, but we may try that to address the unsteadiness issue.

Sound quality was , by definition, only as good as FM radio which is not going to anywhere near as good as a CD or MP3. But throw in the static and the nearby stations trying to overlap on (any of the selected or choosen) frequencies and the music gets to be anoying quickly (and I do not live in the "big city"). Tried every which way to "rig" it, but never got a clean, clear signal.



I have NEVER found one of these type devices (FM modulator) that had enough signal strength to continualy overcome side signals and this unit will not break the streak. So, hopes dashed, it will be car my charger.



Save your money. Either purchase an WIRED FM modulator (see "sound quality" comment above first, it still applied to the inline wired type) or switch out your radio to something compatible with your Zune head phone plug. Even the low cost replacement recievers (< $80) have the proper plugs now (1/8" ?).

This thing is going to cause me to get into a car accident. It requires so much moving around and fiddling with while driving. So much static on any station and randomly cuts in and out. Unless it is in one specific spot it doesn't play anything at all. I got this on sale and it is still too much to spend for it. The only good thing about it is that it charges the player. Can anyone suggest a better device for listening to my zune through the radio? One where I wouldn't have to mess with it every 10 seconds...

I recently purchased a universal FM Transmitter adapter for my 30GB zune. It worked okay, but I had wires going everywhere. When I saw this one I ordered it an returned the old one. Wow, like other zune accessories I've purchased it is well made and works well. While FM transmitter adapters aren't the ultimate solution this one is as good as any.



What I didn't expect is that it transmits the song information to my radio display, a really nice feature. I also like how the tuner attaches to the cigarette adapter using a magnet. It is a much cleaner solution than the one I originally had.
