It's very cute and inconspicuous. Fits perfectly, it seems pretty tough, I have a little air pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter also and compared to that plug this one is much better. I have to be very careful unplugging the air pump so I don't break it. I don't have that feeling with this. I use it to charge my camera and my mp3 player, works fine.

Well you can't beat the price and it was good while it worked. But after using it for about 6 months or so, it has stopped working. The LED light just blinks while you are trying to charge and after charging all day and all night, the battery remains as dead as ever. But for the price and considering the fact that the original Sony charger that my camera came with also died after about a year and half of use, it is the best deal out there. If I can return it for a refund after all this time, I will otherwise I will just get another one.

As soon as I got it, I put the battery to be charged because I was on vacation here in the US. I never saw the light turn on and I tried several outlets since I thought there was no power. Then I left the battery charge (at least I thought) all night and put it back in the camera. The screen began to have this lines all over like a broken TV. Now it is all black but if I want to see the photos I have, I can it is just the mode of taking photos that doesn't work. If I take a photo, it shows all black and a video you can listen what is going on. I am suspicious of this item.

I like the compact lightweight design, the plug folds in for slim storage. I like that it has an indicator light to show when charging is done. It seems to charge in the same amount of time as the original in-camera charger.



For me, an added bonus is the European outlet adapter.

My original charger would not work when I was in Portugal(and it is not working since I came home). I was almost going to buy a Sony charger in Portugal for eighty euros! I decided not to buy it. Although I wish I had more video, I just took a lot more pictures.



Anyway, I was thrilled to find this charger at this price. Even more thrilled to have the European outlet adapter included at that price.

Every time we have to move... which is FREQUENTLY (thanks to the Witness Relocation Program) we lose something. This past move was the charger for our Sony DSC-S85 camera. If stored data is out-dated, these little discs can be shredded easily in most of todays paper shredders. Also a must have for Sony Mavica owners.

The disk works great with my Sony Minolta MVC-CD400 Digital Still Camera. The disk for this camer can only be ordered from Sony where you will pay much more for them. I wish I'd just bought an actual GorillaPod at this point. There are a multitude of joints on this knock-off that are too loose to hold the camera up after a day or two of playing (gently) around with it.



I'm going to buy a tube of superglue and try to build up a bit of additional plastic on the weak ball joints, but heck, I'd much rather not have to hack this thing to make it work. Beware.

I use this with my Nikon coolpix and others (Leica and Rollifex) digital/rangefinder compacts, and it actually works fairly well (i've several of these handy dandy tripods on hand).
