Purchase this product after reading the reviews.I am having DCR-DVD405 camcorder and after inserting the battery it displays 260min instead of advertised 7.5hrs aprroc 450min. I discharge completely and recharge but it still shows approx 310min . It holds 50% of battery charge i sent for replacement . Received replacement battery and same results 50% runtime . So looks like my bad luck or some of the batteries are pretty old in the stock not used as per lenmar site if the battery is not used for long time the capacity will reduce to 50% . By the way this camcorder is in the list of supporting sony camcorders.

If you don't feel like paying for the Sony name this battery works perfectly. My HDR-HC7 worked fine with it and reported 416 minutes remaining after a full charge.

The replacement battery works as well as I expected after reading other reviews. It is a bit long when on the camera but the extended time is worth it.

I tried charging this battery after attaching it to my DCR-SR65 but the charging light went off in a few seconds !!! Then I found that the battery is already charged. When I started my camera it showed me remaining time as 405 minutes which close to 7 hours !! I seriously believe no one should waste money on the original Sony batteries as far as these type of good products are available. Even the construction of the battery is quiet impressive and sturdy. Looks like the original one.

Great Battery, Great Price for amount of usage. I used this battery for a DVD & CD Professional Recording at my Church. I had a extra NP-FH70 in bag, but never used it. I recorded approx. 3hrs. and prior rehearsals, and still had 1/4 time left... I'm impressed, and will recommend to anyone. This is truly the only Battery I need.
