I have purchased several LENMAR brand rechargeable batteries over the years and they appear to continue to produce good quality batteries. I noticed another reviewer was concerned about the "branding" but so far this battery is performing as good as the SONY that came with the camera, but at a fraction of the cost. Besides, there are probably only a limited number of actual battery manufacturers and it is likely that SONY and LENMAR batteries come from the same place!

Just recieved this battery before a Disney trip, and recorded several hours of video on my camcorder without recharging this battery. It is much better than the factory battery that came with the camcorder, as that only lasts less than 1 hour. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Initially I was a little skeptical about this non=branded battery. But after purchasing this battery and using it for sometime, I find it good enough for the purpose. The battery holds charge well for my SONY DCR-SR45 camcorder. Good purchase.

Original Sony batteries are too much money. Lenmar has been making good batteries for a long time so don't worry about buying an "off brand". This one performs every bit as good as an original Sony battery on our Handycam.
