I really like sleeves. I always put my laptop into a regulare briefcase or backpack, so I want extra protection in there. I have the 13-15" model which works great with a Thinkpad T400 (14" widescreen) but is a VERY tight stretch for my T61p (15.4" widescreen) so I got the 15w model. It fits nicely. Can shove in the power cord if you absolutely need to.

I have purchased a smaller laptop sleeve from this very company for my 14inch laptop. It fit snugly which I absolutely love. So I decided to buy one for my new 15.5incher. It is a very well designed/made sleeve but it didn't quite snugly fit my laptop, a Sony Vaio NW series. It is pretty loose inside it, but I still use it to keep it protected since I do not use a separate bag designed for laptop use. These laptop sleeves are a blessing for those who do not like or buy bags designed for laptop use.



I give this 4 stars because it didn't quite workout for me, probably because of the xwidescreen my vaio is. But it should fit better for those with standard widescreen laptops.

I ordered this for the new 15.4" macbook pro and it's just too big, it moves around inside, I had one of builts sleeves before for a different laptop and it was a perfect fit (a toshiba laptop) but this one is just too big for the macbook, I guess for other laptops it would be great.



With that aside it's a really good quality sleeve I haven't seen anything like it in terms of quality, its built out of a really thick layer of neophrene that will provide great protection for any laptop, the zippers open and close with ease and the color is beautiful (Black raspberry)

I intened to only give it 4-star since with the size of the lens, flash will shot a significant shadow on almost half the size of the photo. Yet, it's the design issue on H5, not the lens. Overall, under sufficient lighting condition, the images look great. Very good quality from Made-in-Japan SONY lines.

I got this wide angle conversion lens last month to be put on my Sony DSC-H3. The effect is tremendous! I can now easily capture a wide frame of picture that goes much beyond what H3 had to offer (even though H3 is already pretty good without any additional lenses). With this lens it will never be a problem for me to take group pictures in a small room. I love this lens and bring it to wherever I go.

I have a Sony CyberShot DSC-H1 that came with an adapter tube (56mm to 52mm). I thought it would be great to extend the power of the 12X lens by buying this 0.7X wide angle converter and a 1.7X tele converter lenses, also made by Sony. Both converter lenses stated that they had 58mm threads to mount to the camera, so I bought a 52mm to 58mm adapter ring, thinking that one adapter ring would work with both of them. Well, the 1.7X tele converter mounted on the adapter ring just fine. But this 0.7X wide angle converter would not! The problem is that the threads for mounting this lens are recessed about a quarter of an inch. That means I will need, not an adapter ring, but an adapter TUBE just to mount this lens! Thus far, I have taken some great pictures with the 1.7X tele converter lens. But I cannot even mount this 0.7X wide angle converter on my camera! And I have no idea where I can find an adapter TUBE for 52mm (camera) to 58mm (lens) adaption. It's probably a great lens. Too bad I can't use it!

I purchased this lens when I got my Sony DSC-H50. My camera already has a fairly wide lens (which I love), but I wanted an even wider angle for certain shots and this fits the bill.



I like buying OEM and, having purchased many Sony add-on lenses for my digital cameras over the years, I enjoy that theirs don't have the level of distortion that some other brands have. You get a pretty clean wide angle shot.



It is HUGE and that was a shocker at first, but then this camera is my first dealing with a 74mm. I like that Sony puts this one in the padded bag because it makes a nice cushion in my camera bag between my camera and the hard plastic lens hood and adapter ring. (I love my camera bag so much that I kept it, even though I had to pull out most of the dividers due to the larger size of this camera from my previous, slim CyberShot)



The only negative, and it is a fairly significant one, is that it DOES interfere with your flash. I have the Sony DSC-H50, which is built very similarly to the other reviewer's camera who also noted this problem. I tested it out using my flash and there was a HUGE half moon covering the entire bottom half of the shot.



Bottom line - If you are not shooting with flash, it is an excellent addition to your H series camera. If you expect to use your flash you will NOT be able to use this lens effectively.



I am not likely to shoot with flash very often, so I will still get a lot of use out of this lens. YMMV, however.

I have the Sony DSC-H9 and trust me It surely does add more width to your photo when taking pictures in a tight spot or when you need to get more out of your photo. The only I problem I had with it is when you want to zoom in the focus gets blurred, as well as the "auto burst" function is disabled when using the lense. But overall, whenever I go "out" to take pictures, I make sure I never leave home with out it :-)

This is a great add on for the Sony camera that it fits. I do wish it would be a bit more wide, but just the same - I have achieved some nice images with this lens. Use caution when installing as it is a little cumbersome lining the threads up properly. It does the job as advertised. Its bigger than I imagined, but it does come with a nice carrying pouch. Overall, I am very happy with it.

This is a nice bag. I bought it for my Dell Studio 15. It fits like a glove and matches the plum/purple color of the Dell perfectly. I have had it for about 6 weeks and with daily constant use it has done well. The stitching on the zipper has pulled a littrle but has not torn.

This laptop cover is really cute and sturdy. I love it once you get the right size. This case will NOT fit a 15.4 inch macbook pro very well. It has and extra inch or so all the way around the computer so that it slips around a lot. If you have a macbook make sure and get the case that fits the 15 inch. Other than that, this case is great.

the quality is great...very padded and nice pink contrast interior color, but it's way too big for my 15" macbook pro. there was at least 2" of extra length and at least 1" of extra width, which i didn't like. i really wanted a snug fit. i could stick 3 file folders with papers inside this with the macbook and still have room to spare.

My biggest reason for wanting this lens was so I could fit more in the picture when I filming indoors. It works beautifully for this, I now have a lot more in the frame. The picture is clear all the way around. There is some slight barrel distortion around the edges of the picture, but it's only noticeable with straight lines, and it's very slight. I've read in places that the lens is heavy and uncomfotable to use one the camera, but I disagree. Yes, it does add some weight, not enough for me to be concerned though.



I can go on, but I can't think of a better way to illustrate this lens than to show you what it looks like in action. Please watch my video review.

I own a Sony HDR-XR520V (as of March 2009 Sony's top consumer HD camcorder) and this lens fits perfectly without any adapters. It's a bit heavy and bulky but it gives you great shots that look professional. Perfect for 'Letterbox' recording. It does not support additional filters though and recommends that you do not use them with it either. I would like to see a filter marketed that could be attached over this lens by a rubber ring. Or (even better) a rubber ring adapter that could be used to attach any different filter with standard threads.
