I searched for the cheapest filters I could find, thinking that if they didn't perform well, then at least they would help protect my new Raynox HD-5050LE Pro High Definition Wide Angle Lens for Camcorders from accidental damage. I'm no expert, but for the price these filters seem to perform very nicely. I checked the Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) by looking through it at my LCD TV, and my laptop LCD screen, (and rotating) and holding it up to a mirror front and back, and it passed with 'flying colors'.



I haven't had a chance to really evaluate the two other filters, but I expect similar results: good performance at a rock bottom price. Nice filters to experiment with for the price of clear lens protectors, you just can't beat this deal.

I bought the "Zeikos ZE-FLK62 62mm Multi-Coated 3 Piece Filter Kit (UV-CPL-FLD)" and the "Digital Concepts 67mm Video Filter Kit with UV Protection, Polarizer, & Fluorescent Daylight Filters and Filter Carrying Case" about a month ago. I wanted affordable filters that I wouldn't mind damaging and replacing. Particularly the Circular polarizers and the UV's because they will get the most use. The UV's work perfectly as lens protectors and almost never come off. No noticeable defects.

The Circular Polarizers seem to not polarize as much as I expected, but they do a good enough job for the price. Overall, I'm very happy.

This set of 3 filters should be the first investment you make to protect and begin using your new camera. Since many of the digitals now adjust for fluorescent lights, the fluorescent filter may not be so necessary, but the other two are just essential. A nice case was included. The price was excellent.

These filters are great quality for the price. With filters you can spend a small fortune getting high quality and while I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for you also can't go wrong with these. I purchases two of the 52mm version of this set one for my 52mm lenses and one for my sister. I later purchased another lens but it was a 72mm so I had to get this set as well. All of the filters are Zeikos and have been great! If you are a professional photographer you may want to get a better quality but you will spend 10 times as much for just one filter. I am a hobbyist and this works just fine for me.



Filters can also help protect your expensive lens from damage. I always keep at least the UV filter on just for that reason. I use the CPL filter the most because I love what it does to the sky and colors. I don't use the FLD filter much because I don't take a lot of portraits under that kind of lighting.

I bought these primarily for the CPL filter. I tried to use them with a Canon EF-S 18-200 lens. It was very difficult to attach them to the lens. Somehow I managed to screw them in front of the lens. I tried to take pictures in broad daylight. It was very difficult to achieve autofocus even though it was very bright outside. When I managed to achieve focus and take some pictures, the image quality was horrible. After a couple of hours of trial, I decided to return them. I filled out RMA request and returned them the very next day.

it's a cheap product, it does a good enough job. i have a nikkor lens and you can see a drop in the quality of the image when using this filter. i've used other filters before and this one is lower in quality and sort of works against the money you spend on a good lens.



i dont use it much unless i'm bang smack in the day with lots of light and glare and it is working well for me

Since I was a first time entering to DSLR and have spent 1400$ on 18-200 VR lens and Nikon D90 I thought I would go cheaper on accessories. Well when I got similar prod from e-bay (with lots of extras for 23 bucks) it showed its quality. UV filter was ok (god know it may be just a plain glass but it should not affect my Img Qual) but I am not seeing any better results from Circ polarizer.. and the threads are not good If i put my CPL on UV both filters get stuck (not sure if I shouldn't put it on UV).... FLD gives a purple effect but I have not started using it. so no comments on it.

Well its a loss of 20$ will buy good ones later..

El cheapo starter kit - nice to play with the filters. Even though the pack claims the filters are multi coated, they seem to be pretty reflective, including the UV filter - it seems to be just a glass, no coating, much more reflective than my Hoya UV(0) anyways.



The kit comes with a box for storing filters, with a red fabric inside that leaves small red bristles on the glass.

Nice lens filter kit. Contains a good assortment of much needed filters, including a clear UV for all-time lens protection. I bought the 67mm for my Nikkor lenses and feel they're an excellent buy for the price. "Name brands" are a lot more expensive and really don't provide much more to compensate for the difference in prices. I would definitely buy these again!

No, I'm not a professional and I did read the other comment. For few dollars I got filter who works perfectly for me. Neon lights up room look more natural the shade makes my boating day breather looking. For the uv protection, I can't see the difference on my 10 Mp Cannon camera. For the glass v/s plastic lents I can't see where the problem and the frame threaded part work just fine, to me.

These are advertised as multi coated, but they are not. Not that one would expect good multi coated filters at that low a price point. Under normal lighting conditions the filter works fine, but at low light conditions the reflective nature of this filter (due to poor multi coating) potentially ruins the picture.

For the cost, these filters do a great job. I don't own really expensive filters, but I know quality when I see it. Each filter consists of metal ring construction. The UV haze is glass, and I believe the circular polarizer filter is glass, and the florescent filter is plastic. Each filter installs on each of my lenses easily and seem to work great. I did loan the CPL to a friend who used it on a Canon telephoto. She found that with that filter on that lens the photos were out of focus. She was shooting mid to late afternoon outside so perhaps with that filter it was throwing off some settings in the camera. I've used them on manual and auto lenses without encountering that problem. Get them, especially if you're a budget-conscious buyer.

i guess 'what you pay is what you get' applies perfectly for this product. i wanted to start using filters so got this as a start-up. the 'red' filter is kinda useless, did not find any good purpose for using it. the plain UV filter is ok, but if you are shooting a light source, the reflection of the light shows up in the picture, usually at the exact opposite spot. the worst was the polarizing filter. i screwed on the filter to my 18-55mm lens and now it's stuck on it! the threads gave away i think and i cannot unscrew them or take it out of the lens. i've tried a lot of different things and i will probably have to take it to a camera shop to get it out.

I ordered this item on 7/31/09 and received it the next day with standard shipping (this might not be the case for everybody but they ship immediately), It was thru Amazon but sold and shipped by Ace Photo Digital, first time I heard of them but like them already.



All filters are sealed individually and all together in a small leather pouch, all have metal rings, if I'm not mistaken are real glass and they all fit perfectly on my Canon EF-S IS 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and on my Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 APO DG Lens.



UV filter made pics 20% brighter and sharper, FL-D is making everything magenta indoors and out (must play a little more with camera settings to see what it can do) and the CPL is amazing, turning the ring from normal to complete haze and glare reduction.



Can't go wrong with this item, great shipping, great quality, fit and lens protection.

I am not sure what 100$+ filters are made up of, and how they improve your image. But with just 10$ this product is more than 200% worth it. I love the circular polarizer which is great for landscapes. UV filter is not affecting the resolution power of my kit lens in any noticeable way. I don't like the florescent filter though.. But I would pay 10$ just for the CP filter. Look at the images i uploaded.

Note: UV filter gives you some glare as it re-reflects the light bouncing off the lens coating if you are taking pictures of very bright objects like Sun. You can just remove the filter that time.

The provided case is just wonderful..

I know this set of filters is more than cheap, but i bought it because of the photos somebody posted in this product's page. So far the only difference i have noticed is my camera takes more time to focus when I'm using the polarized one on my lens; i haven't tried the others because i just bought the set to use the CPL.

If you can buy something better, just do it. Don't buy this set.

I would not recommend this item.
