Same problem other people had--Apple's refusal to honor warranty. Battery was junk after only a few months. Apple said it wasn't their problem, it was mine. No wonder they have had class action suits filed against them in the past. Don't expect Apple to honor their warranty.



Product is fine otherwise. But they want $99 to replace a battery which should be a warranty item. Right! Great way to get loyal customers.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. Two months later the battery would not hold a charge. We contacted Apple and were told to send it back. They apparently have this problem with many of these.



They sent the iPod back and said it was our fault! Huh? No damage at all, the dang thing just would not hold a charge. Will cost us $80 to fix, and we have to pay for shipping (even the original shipping) because they said it was not covered under warranty--you know, the one year warranty.



Like I said, I will never by another Apple product again. I am also not fixing what we have. I will buy a Sony product or something else.

Bought this for my daughter for her 18th birthday. She loves it . She has a Zune which she loves but she says this is better because of all the apps you can get. She has downloaded several apps and even movies. I have played with it and found it fun and I am now planning on getting one for myself. Great!!!
